Within London City Police, there are many ranks within each Specialism and in General. Each rank has a specific role and agenda, as well as responsibility. To progress through rank, an officer must show that they are developing in every aspect of the job.

A superintendent works alongside the Chief Superintendent making vital decisions regarding London City RP Success. They Liaise with Chief Inspectors and other ranks to ensure effective and accurate information is obtained.

Chief Inspectors run the different specialisms within the City Police. Responsible for the smooth running of their entire team and ensuring excellence in all the officers do.

Some inspectors may be given certain areas to supervise within their Specialism, so their role may be more aimed at a an Area Manager, or some inspectors may be a liaison between the Chief Inspector and all other officers within that Specialism.

Sergeant
A sergeant is the first step on the rank ladder, and is more of a supervision role. Sergeants may lead smaller teams in operations, or may take charge until someone higher is on scene.

Each officer is assigned a Collar Number, a Unique Callsign as well as their choosen specialism. Officers are the first point of contact between the public, and the police.

PCSOs
The Police Community Support Officer role is given to those who fail to meet the requirement to become a Police Officer and are awaiting the next training scheme. In Some cases, Officers may be put into the PCSO role for disciplinary reasons. A PCSO cannot make an arrest.
